2026 Fall Workshop Information

JOIN  US THIS  FALL  FOR  BECOMING
THE ULTIMATE  TEAM  PLAYER  AT  WORK !

An engaging and practical workshop designed to help participants strengthen the everyday behaviors that make teams thrive. Through lively discussion, real-world examples, reflective pair-up activities, video clips, and a fun teamwork challenge, participants will explore what true teamwork looks like, learn how to avoid common workplace “PITA” tendencies, manage conflict with emotional intelligence, and adopt “Good-Wolf” behaviors that build trust, cooperation, and results.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with fresh insight, practical strategies, and a personal checklist for becoming the kind team player every workplace needs.

A PAEOP “favorite presenter” will spend the day with us to help us on our journey to be the Ultimate Team Player. Dr. Robert Orndorff (Bob) is Senior Director of Career Services at Penn State, an Associate Professor in Counselor Education, and a training specialist who leads professional development seminars for faculty and staff. He created a new Penn State course featuring the eight NACE Career Readiness Competencies and co-authored a career readiness course approved in 2026 as a General Education offering. Over his 35-year career, Bob has also worked at Indiana University of  Pennsylvania,
Georgetown University, Moravian College, and Elon University. At Georgetown, his program, The Strategic Job Search, won a national award as the nation’s best educational program related to career services and was featured on Good Morning America.

Bob is also a career and interpersonal author and consultant serving the education, business, and government sectors. The U.S. Department of Defense contracted him to deliver professional development seminars for returning military personnel and their families and day-long trainings for Army personnel at the Pentagon. His books include Becoming The Best Me, on career readiness for middle- and high-school students; My Career Adventure, for elementary students; and, as lead author, The PITA Principle: How to Work with and Avoid Becoming a Pain in the A**. A frequent keynote speaker at regional and national conferences, he addressed more than 2,000 attendees at a national Character Education Conference in Indianapolis, spoke multiple times on integrating career and character development at the Careers Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, and delivered the opening keynote at a national conference for education office professionals in Charleston, South Carolina, in summer 2025. In his community, Bob has served as a youth league basketball coach and written a “Fathering” thought-piece column for the Centre Daily Times.
