    Thursday Banquet Festivities

     
     
    The Penn State Glee Club provided entertainment during the Thursday evening banquet.  These talented young gentlemen sang an array of songs and gave a performance that the entire audience enjoyed.

    The banquet also provided a time for the presention of awards.
     
    Douglas Bird, a graduate of Stroudsburg High School, was awarded the
    Hermine Solt Student Scholarship.
    His application was selected out of 36 that were submitted from around the state.  Douglas will be studying Business Administration at Bloomsburg University. 
     
     
     
    Patti Fogarty from Central Columbia School District was presented the
    Gertrude E. Kopf Award of Recognition
    by committee chair, Lisa Guiser. 
    Patti is currently secretary to the principal at Central Columbia Elementary School.  She is involved in all aspects of her elemetary school, and is an active PAEOP member.  Two of Patti's supervisors, Helen Lewis and Thomas Sharrow, were surprise guests and both praised Patti for her caring attitude and leadership skills.  Patti's husband also attended the banquet to see her honored by the PAEOP Association.
